Zebra ZM400 Calibration Settings

Zebra ZM400 Calibration Settings

Is your ZM400 printer skipping labels, not stopping on the tear line or data shifting on the label? If so, you might have a calibration issue. There are a couple different ways to get the printer to fix the Zebra ZM400 calibration settings.

One way to get the ZM400 to run a calibration process is to run it from the menu. Using the menu is simple and the preferred method. Entering the menu by pressing the Setup/Exit button and using the + button to scroll to the entry called ‘Media Power Up’ and changing that setting to calibration. Hit the setup/Exit button and save changes permanent. Now we simply turn the printer off with the power switch on the back and then turn the power back on after a few seconds and the printer should go through a calibration process after the printer has powered on.

Another way to get the ZM400 to calibrate is to utilize the driver installed for the printer. In both the Zebra ZDownloader and the Seagull-Scientific printer drivers there are settings to calibrate the printer from the computer. Using the driver to run a calibration process is simple and effective. Right click on the driver and select ‘Printer Properties’. Contained within the properties of the driver will be a tab for ‘Tools’. It’s these tools that will provide the calibration parameters.
